I think the problem is a lot of the good looking mons in gen 5 are also kind of shit and we see a lot of the really ugly mons. like the genies are fucking awful designs, the therians even worse, and they were huge in competitive. darm is also pretty common and he looks wack as fuck, then there's amoonguss which is lulelectrode but a shroom - major ou mon when gen 5 dropped
