yeah i'll admit, i was burned by BDO. i'll keep a cautious eye on it, since the gameplay in BDO was pretty good. the grind layered in all the mechanics and the P2W that BDO turned into is what worries me most.

Or you can keep it turn based but make the pokemon move around when they're not attacking.
Because current battle animations (as we can see inj this thread >>41774378 ) are painfully static and this is cringe as fuck in a real scaled 3D game

I'm conflicted; the monster designs are really hit or miss and don't have much consistency, but that could be said of some Pokemon too. What is really weird are the human character animations; those expressions move around so quickly and smoothly that's it uncanny and doll-like.
