Onix, a behemoth of a pokemon, the longest/tallest rock type in the series, checking in at over 28ft long and weighing over 500lbs. It was the original “boss” pokemon introduced in the series as Brock’s main pokemon, and is even used by Elite Four members such as Bruno, but what is its problem? It sucks.
Onix has a BST of 385, 30 points lower than Dunsparce. It has the exact same Attack stat as **Pidgey.** A pidgeon vs 29ft rock snake hitting just as hard.

This may seem controversial, but give Onix the **same BST as Steelix.**

See normally I would agree with you, but there is precedence for this. Let’s take a look at another Metal Plate Evolution: **Scyther**
