On the subject of Gym leaders, how well does being a Gym leader pay?
If Galar gym leaders are any indication, shouldn't be VERY high considering some gym leaders have side careers, granted those could just be hobbies.

The low amount of money is probably why we see them working second jobs, that and “~characterization~” it also goes to show not a lot of money is made via battling explaining why training Pokémon isn’t a super viable option for survival.

Probably depends. I'd asdume gyms would attract foot traffic, so the more people going to the gym the better the town economy should in theory be, and you'd think more popularity would result in higher pay. Or another theory they're run by the region's League and get funding through them.
