HAs will come from high star (4-5) raids not necessarily pink beams. Really depends on the mon you want with HA though some dens I believe don’t carry the HA. You’ll have to check out the serebii den guide

I always thought it had to be dens that you threw a WP into
And that if you tried rerolling normal dens, then when you rolled the date over, the locations of the dens would all shuffle around, whereas WP dens will always have a Pokemon 'til you're done with it, if that makes sense

Actually we forced the second shield halfway through the first one and then killed it with 4 or 5 parts of the second shield left, which is pretty fast since most raids don't die until the end of the second shield.

Well it really depends on the g-max move they get.
G-max Snorlax is objectively better because Snorlax gains nothing from reducing enemy speed and gains a lot from refreshing his berries.

it's not too hard once you get the hang of it
>in settings set text speed to slow and turn off autosave
>go to raid den that has the mon you're looking for
>throw in wishing piece
>the game will want to save but as the text "Now saving your..." appears the light will appear from the den
>if the light isn't the rare purple hit the home button and close the game
If you did this correctly it doesn't consume your wishing piece until you find the correct color light
From here you'd just
>select the den
>if it's not the correct pokemon choose the option "Invite Others"
>go to switch home menu
>in Settings-System-Date and Time turn off Synchronize Clock Via Internet
>move the date forward one day
>return to pokemon game
>Choose the option "Quit"
>recheck the den and repeatedly increase the day by one day while searching for others until you find the desired mon

There is no risk at all. It's a system update, not a fucking software update. It doesn't take a computer scientist to understand the difference between these two updates.
Not to mention if the exploits ever got patched out then everybody in these threads would absolutely be losing their goddamn minds. "DO NOT UPDATE THE GAME, THEY PATCHED THE EXPLOITS" would be the first thing you see in the OP and 90% of the posts in the thread would theorizing on how to circumvent the patch, finding new exploits, or otherwise bitching and moaning.

Thanks, really appreciate your help! I managed to get a level 60 Dragapult and Aegislash from the surprise trade so I can probably use those somewhat effectively. Do I need to be in the wild area to participate in other's raids?

You don’t have to be in the wild area. If you want to max a mon out with candies it will still obey you in raid even if it can’t in other battles (lack of badges). In any case you can easily be carried by other anons here with dogs and eternatus so no worries

They will disobey you. I had a level 71 dog from a trade and he worked in raid but when I tried to battle it was like “zacian refused” or something. Til I got the next badge that allowed up to level 80 or whatever. It says on your league card what your level limit is for obeying and catching they’re different.

Frisk, it's HA is only good for doubles and even then knowing the items of both your opponents pokemon is way better.

don't worry, you'll get them eventually. i'd advice you finishing the first part of the game and getting eternatus so you can clear raids more easily. it's pretty late here but if there are any more orbeetle raid i'm hosting i'll post them in these generals.
