Never cared for Golbat as a kid, but Crobat turned into a real bro and eviolite allowed for some nice gimmick sets for Golbat since it has some nice moves and resistances.

It's ugly and I didn't like the bloodshot eyes in the Stadium games. Now I still think it's ugly but in a good monstrous way. Blastoise is still trash.

I used to think Ampharos looked goofy as fuck and would never use it. Used it a few years ago in an HG nuzlocke and it soloed 2 of the Elite 4. Loved it since then.

Jynx was my least favourite mon until I used it in a Gold nuzlocke earlier this year. Total bro with great STAB in the form of Ice Punch and Psychic.

I like Magcargo more now. I appreciate it's design more, and I ended up using a Modest one in Soul Silver which ended up being weirdly strong. Rock/Fire is terrible but it's got some decent resists and isn't the worst typing ever.

Good tastes. Forretress was my bro back in Gen 2. Sad to say, time has not been kind to him though. Really wish they would buff him a little. Not overwhelmingly so, but just enough to compete with Ferrothorn. Something like:

Abilitie: Sturdy / New Ability: Bulletproof / Hidden Ability: Overcoat
>HP: 75 -> 89
>Attack: 90 -> 100
>Defense: 140
>Sp. Attack: 60 -> 50
>Sp. Defense: 60 -> 90
>Speed: 40 -> 15
Total BST: 465 -> 489
Give it some decent recovery with Slack Off or Shore Up and it might find some use in UU.
