This isn't for Swoosh, this is for the new 2019 anime. Which is not tied to any game in particular and actualy has elements of SwSh, Go, Let's Go and even referenced Pokemon Quest in a scene.

They already said that the major-league gyms change from year to year. Bea winning out over Allister to get her gym in the major league doesn't affect which version is canon.

There appear to be only so many gym buildings in the region, so they probably all have to share. Canon isn't dependent on which leaders happen to be in the majors in this one given gym season. When Melony is in she probably always uses the gym on the icy town, but when she doesn't make the cut, someone else can use it.

Gen 8's art style is way too different and dull compared to Gen 1
The mismatched art was only bearable until Gen 4 and right now is straight-up cancer, not even Unova, Kalos and Alola felt so mismatched
