Looks like the player character's shadow's placement is off or something. And there's a shadow further away that looks like a Steelix's shadow too.

which is it game freak?
in multiplayer battles you can clearly see flying rotom cameras that are recording the event, but i HIGHLY doubt that kind of detail inclusion in any pokemon new game.
