So does the new game just flat out not have any Event Legendaries? Usually the datamine shows us shit like Zeraora and Hoopla, but this time around nobody has mentioned anything other than the 35 old guys not in the dex.

Mythicals now come in their own games. See Meltan/Melmetal. Then you transfer them to Home. Sword and Shield won't even see them, ever.

This time around the "hidden things not in the game yet" are Gigamax forms like Snorlax, Toxtricity and Melmetal. Considering Snorlax's delivery method was an online event with a time limit just like in the past then you can safely presume the Gigamax forms are this gen's "event legends".

They're not though, there's 2 slots for pokémon with removed data in the index. They just didn't bother implementing the mythicals into the code on launch this time.
