>>41801217The longer you stare at it the more “features” you can make out of the not-face. First the compass eye, obviously. Then the triangles on the shape of the anchor start to look like a big toothy grin, which makes the seaweed below it look like a beard. So then the knot in the middle is a nose? Which makes the loose kelp hanging look like a little mustache and big eyebrows. And at this point you probably realize it’s a pirate, so the broken compass where the other eye would be is an eyepatch.
And yet it’s still not hard to just look at it as a faceless anchor and ship wheel, the eye is the only thing difficult to unsee.
