I’ve read the FAQ and still don’t understand the problem I’m having. I haven’t had raids spawn in 2 days. I’ve tried everything, I’ve cleared every raid off the map and nothing new popped up, I’ve waited for a new day and nothing new has popped up, I went and continued the story past the next gym and rival battle, nothing has popped up.
What am I missing? Does clearing all the current raids to get more include checking every glowing spot without a beam perhaps?

Nope. Sounds like something is borked. Try going to mystery gift and getting the latest wild area news, that usually resets your raids.

the time exploit also resets the beam cycle so you can go forward 1 day, then back 1 day, but you'll need to be in the waiting for players screen which requires a beam but you can wishing star one

That said, I managed to score a Wishing Piece'd Purple beam in the G-Max Gengar Raid. Anybody interested in some non-Gigantamax raids before I reset for Gengar? I have Polteageist right now and I saw Cursola during my previous G-Max Gengar hunt.

I have a feeling it might be due to us talking about the exploit. But that also opens up another conundrum: if THAT'S the issue with these threads then why not delete the actual hacking generals here too?

Good point, I forgot about Sableye. My only issue with that one is that Prankster seems to not be available via the dens.

Alright, I triggered a Sableye to appear in the den and it lacks its HA. I also discovered that the vendors in Stow-on-Side can be reset with the calendar exploit, use it if you need money or want to check for a Chipped Pot.

if you solo it then having reflect and light screen are important for mons that have attacks that hit all mons on your side, like earthquake

I recommend gallade. she learns all screens, and is fightning type and not weak to psychic which is good for all the snorlax raids

yes, since a lot of the trainers mons are fucking useless like the maractus and solrock trainer. some of them are based as fuck, the torkoal trainer has reset buffing raidmons with clear smog, but you have to hope you get them if you don't have the muscle to force the raidmons down.

The idea wasn't that you were supposed to grind them out yourself, but rather that other players would find it by chance and share it with others.
But not only does Nintendo's shitty online not really support the system they intended, but outside of your Friends there's no real method in which to find specific raids. A fuckton of people are playing this game and presumably regularly finding raids, but from how the game relays them to you it feels like there might as well be no more than 20 people who've bought the game.

It doesn't even need to be an MMO.
Give us a fucking search engine for raids instead of just waiting and hoping something good pops up. Maybe invest in some sort of dedicate matchmaking server and extend the time in which we can search for participating players. Maybe boost the catch rates for guests just a bit so it's not so tediously stacked against them.
This whole idea of getting players to come together for raids COULD work very well even without the exploits but they fumbled it so hard that using exploits is literally the default option for every player who wants to benefit from the raid system on a halfway consistent level.

Legendaries. Strat works best when my Poke is the only non-Legendary so Ditto Transforms into it and gets 2 shot, but I guess no else is interested in a 0 Speed IV 5 Perfect IV Ditto so we can't get a full team of Legendaries. There's only one overworld Gengar to fight and I can't force him to respawn by changing the date. The only other way to fight Gengar is rematching Allister and I couldn't get that to happen reliably. Instead of wasting time trying to find 500 Gengars to fight I'm just doing full odds.

My friend doesn't have Online. When we do local Dynamax battles for regular Pokemon it works just fine, the games immediately allow us to join each other's battle.

When we try to do any Gigantamax form battles however the game acts like the other person isn't there.

Tents, trades, all of the other features work fine but not Gigantamax raids over local.

Is anybody else having this problem.

Host for non-promoted fights always gets 100% or so close it doesn't mater, guest get 'normal' catch rates, and g-max guest get catch rates equal to Legendary pokemon. Best to use a dusk ball, or other ball as appropriate.

To be fair, that isn't so much of a deal breaker when compared to hyper training as you only need to apply the mint once to fix a bad nature, rather than fix a whole load of bad IVs with a bunch of bottle caps. Also doesn't require leveling to 100 to do it.
