Gamefreak should have 2 gap years, 2020 and 2021, and put ALL of their development effort towards gen 9.

On the 25th anniversary, they can celebrate it by bringing back all the pokemon in swsh and having a DLC event in the game
and they have merch to keep their sales afloat anyways
