>>41811076I'll give you one thing, anon. The story in SM was pretty good the first time around. I enjoyed it, and felt all warm and fuzzy on the inside by the time I hit the credits. Especially that one image of Gladion and his Silvalley. Fucking adorable.
However, USUM forcing us to retread that story, with no option to skip it, and then robbing us of any good pay-off by completely scrapping Lusamine's arc in favor of Necrozma, was absolute shit. Rainbow Rocket was also trash, by that time I just wanted the story to be over with and get on with postgame breeding and what-not. Also, treating Giovanni like he's some great evil was fucking cringe. Still better than SWSH, though.
