It actually pops back out of the ice in the ice face regaining animation implying it's grown. I guess I can agree it's kinda wacky, but I still like the design

Probably, the closest we got was Sinnoh with Snowpoint and surrounding routes (Mt. Coronet also counts)
It was actually kinda cringe to catch Ice type pokémon in other regions because the region doesn't match the areas they're caught on, so it actually makes sense for Eiscue to freeze part of his body to venture out in warmer areas (design still sucks tho, but the idea is cool)
