Basically said so in an interview when asked too, so apparently they haven't lost all of their brain cells yet.

If only they'd apply the logic to everything they do.

Of course, the real reason is primarily the first one and that's why they don't apply the logic thoroughly - they're perfectly okay with shitting the game up by forcing shit on you they just don't have time to do that in nearly a dozen languages when they're rushing out yearly unfinished trash.

of course. Honestly Milo, I think the best voice actor for him would be Jesse's eng VA. I know people give GX shit all the time but I loved GX in eng as a kid. Still do today.

Voice acting has done more damage to RPGs than anything else. The expectation of full VA is why Fallout and Elder Scrolls went to shit; if everyone is voiced, then you have to pay voice actors in huge amounts of time, editing, money, and double-checking lines to make sure the voice actor didn't go off-script.

Then in the future, you run into the issue of royalties which some voice actors (especially Japanese ones) are serious bastards about. How many times have you heard that they couldn't get the rights to some music when bringing something westward? That's why. Then you get issues that crop up when a voice actor gets #MeToo'd and you now have to save face to appease the angry hordes.

Voice acting was a mistake.
