IVs are terrible, what’s the replacement?

IVs are simply an objective metric of how shit your Pokémon is compared to 6IVChad but the reason they exist is to differentiate between different Pokémon.
So what would be a better mechanic to do that?
How would you differentiate between Pokémon of the same species?

Bonus challenge: Replace Natures too

Just max them out across the board and call it a day. That or ditch them entirely and use those points as more EVs.

IVs should be scrapped completely. No replacement. Basically make it so every Pokemon just has 31 IVs in terms of stats. Everything is the same and it's better and simplistic.

Pokemon can have size differences between species ranging from 30% smaller to 30% larger than normal for example leafeon's normal size is 3'03 but a petite one would be 2'03 and a large one would be 4'03

Make it so that perfection in every stat is impossible.

Think about it, with natures, you often have to make a tradeoff. You lose one stat to gain another stat. Make IVs work in a similar way. Maybe 124 is the max number of perfect IVs a Pokemon can have, which would mean that if you wanted perfect IVs, you would have to sacrifice in 2 stats.

Even Chad has a low INT and WIS score, even if his CON, STR, DEX, and CHA are maxed out.

It should be more tied to domesticated vs caught in the wild pokemon. Have pokemon you raised from birth be better than one caught in the wild by default.

Tbh since getting to level 100 and getting bottlecaps has never been easier this is the first gen ever I've been able to max out all my IVs just by training. It's great, it's like I actually get to train my Pokemon. Similarly, gen 6 introduced Super Training which was the first gen I ever maxed out and EV trained all my Pokemon also. The mechanics aren't bad if they introduce non autistic ways to do these things, but even the methods I mentioned are pretty grindy.

To give context, I've been playing since Red and blue and I didn't bother with EVs until gen 6, and I didn't bother with IVs until now. I always knew how competitive Pokemon worked but I was never willing to breed past egg moves, and abilities. I did nature's too but eventually I just started catching Pokemon until I caught one with the right nature. In the current gen I just change nature's with mints. All these mechanics are very slowly getting less shitty overtime, perhaps it's just breeding that needs to be gotten rid of outside of shiny hunting and egg moves?

breeding is already basically gone beyond shiny hunting and egg moves. You could hang out in the the Battle Tower and Wild Area for bottlecaps, nature mints, EXP candy, and money for EV vitamins.

You dont. The whole system is retarded and unless GF wants to include something like a height and weight difference between each pokemon, unlikely seeing how lazy the company is, then they shouldn't even bother trying to make them "unique".
