Yes: Injection is technically cheating to begin with
No: You're not making an illegal Pokemon and you're using it for legitimate breeding

If you were truly going to cheat, you'd inject everything and say screw it to actual effort. Plus, foreign 6IV legit Dittos are hard to get. Nintendo has a shitty online service, there's no GTS, and there's no way to prove it's not legit

just be careful about the balls. a guy at the vgc championship got in trouble for using a ferrothorn that while it was breed in game and had a legal moveset and ability was found to be breed by injected pokemon due to being in a safari ball which is normally impossible for a ferrothorn.

A lot of people like the grind because it makes it so much more satisfying when you get the perfect shiny mon. I mean, there’s entire YouTube channels that essentially revolve around shiny hunting and the reaction when they encounter/breed one.
