I'll be honest, I was expecting a Primarina/Delphox situation, where it got ignored the entire Generation largely. To have it turn out to be THE starter of the Generation feels great.

Because Cinderace is the shill starter. But Rillaboom at least have Grassy Surge and U-turn so it will see some uses in future.
Out of three, Inteleon got cucked really hard. Other water pokemon are better than it.

Rabbits are not ugly.
If I have to guess, it's probably because they expect Scorbunny line to be popular starter among kid players due to anime promoting and Cinderace having a less mature design. So of course they need to make it a great starter to use in-game and competitively.

You couldn't tell which of your Pokémon could check Gren in gen 6 until it was too late. Getting shit like low kick and gunk shot was what pushed it over the edge. Then gen 7 happened and the powercreep made it OU. Shit like Celeestela and Toxapex just laughed at it. Also Ash-Gren was better and you can't run both

Blaziken was banned because it set up SD once against something it can kill it and ussualy sweeps while being hard to revenge kill it. Even in ubers is stilll pretty good if your opponent doesn't run E Killer or Giratina

It's up to you if you think Cinderace look like Personally I think it isn't feminine design at all when compare to Primarina line and Braixen, it's a design that can pass as a boyish male or tomboy female. But due to its gender ratio, I would think that it make more sense for Cinderace to be a male than female.

Cinderace doesn't have the insane movepool or ability to go mixed like greninja does, I wouldn't count on it. It'll get a bit better but it'll still probably just hang around for court change most of the time.

It has 3 less speed and more power than Gren.

U-Turn, Pyroball, Zen Headbutt with HJK/Gunk Shot/Iron Head/Sucker Punch/Court Punch to fill in for taste.

Cinderace has more power than Gren, gets U-turn on it's attack stat instead of off-stat and Pyro Ball and Court Change are both absurd moves. Gren's advantages are winning the Gren/Intelleon/Cinderace speed race and access to Spikes.

That's a vast understatement. It will see more use than Cinderace in doubles and still be used a lot in singles. Despite Gamefreak supposedly desinging the game around doubles Cinderace was made to have success in singles.
