You have somehow been tasked with designing the Battle Frontier.

You can create up to three new facilities, you must include at least three old facilities besides the tower. Altogether it makes seven facilities.

Custom facility:make your own rule sets and customize a gym with a rule set you make
Look:outside and inside are made of arts and crafts
You use a special PC to access your custom rule sets and shit,and a door that leads to your gym

Try2Die:Try to faint first
Look:a giant spiritomb

Anything goes:Choose from any Pokémon in the game and it’s level and moves(you can choose wether or not the battles generate scaled to your choices,this also applies to the custom facilities)
Look:The outside is a giant open pokeball
The poke ball is a portal into a dimension with floating Pokémon and pokes exes and poke balls
You can hook this up to your custom rule sets in the custom facility

Returning facilities:decided via online poll to appease the fans

Champions' Hall: Rematch all gym leaders, elite fours and champions from other regions, MCs included of course. Each hall is a different league. You're given a set amount of items and the checkpoint is after the gym leaders. Once you beat a region, another champion will show up at the end for the next battle. Rewards you with EV items and bottlecaps.
Ace Arena: The player and opponents use pre-set teams. Battles are designed like puzzles, with RNG elements disabled and teams designed around hyper-specific strategies. Rewards you with hold items.
Trainer Exhibition: Anything but single battles. Doubles, Triples, Rotation, Horde, Sky Battles, etc. Concludes with a battle against a Mega or Totem, rewarding you with their stone afterward.

Repeat the Johto, Sinnoh and Unova Battle x as returning content.

Beauty battle-Mixes contest mechanics into battle with doing the correct move type rewarding you with things like post-battle heals and other such things
Tag battle-Double battle but the NPC/Other player takes control of both during the even turns and you during odds

before battle, you pick a move out of four options
you then do a 3v3 versus a team that has mons with the move you picked (if you pick fire punch you could get an electivire that has fire punch in its moveset)

Get a patch of grass with a time limit and 10 safari balls. You can catch up to 6 mons, and at the end of the time limit you pick 3 and then go through a set of battles as normal
>Battle Garden
No held items allowed, instead you're supplied with Berries to give to your pokemon between rounds
>Battle Studio
Gimmick is that it's a film set, and rounds will have certain field effects depending on the scene. Like having Telekinesis on every pokemon while on the moon or the like. You pick 1 of your 3 pokemon to participate based on the scene you're told. Occasionally has surprise 2v2s or horde battles.

Battle Diner: All battles in the retro diner styled facility work off of Gen 1 rules, but with more than just gen 1 pokemon. Includes all of the bugs such a thing brings, autocrit Slashes, and picking the highest of the Special stats to use for both stats.
Battle Class: Every set is monotype, changing type every new set. So if the set is Fire type, all your pokemon need to be part Fire. Used as a place that future Gym Leaders study at.
Battle Shuffle: After every set of 7 battles or so, you can't use the pokemon you used to win that set again until you've lost the streak. Has a higher BP gain than the other facilities at higher streaks.

Basically, Pokemon Stadium style rules where you can see their team before a fight and pick 3. However, the rules change every few fights, whether it's Inverse Battles, Dynamax removed, Held Items disabled, Trick Room active or other rules.
>Battle Academy
A unique facility where the limits of movepool are removed. After each fight, you get a one use TM that can be taught to any of your Pokemon regardless of their natural learnset. Their movepools will be returned to normal after exiting the facility.
>Battle Ship
A facility where the goal is to defeat the trainers on other ships while managing your resources. Each ship has a hint to which types of trainers or how many trainers are on it. Once you choose a ship, you can't leave until all the trainers are defeated. You aren't healed automatically after each fight, instead you are given a limited amount of items to heal yourself with. You get additional resources after defeating a ship with tougher ships giving better items.
