Kris and Lyra mother's were supportive. Yes, in extreme cases this can lean toward "helicopter parent" mode if taken too far. But teaching your kid the importance of setting aside money when they're probably too young to open up a bank account, is a good thing. Besides, your parents don't stop caring for you after you leave the nest, them offering their support in the best way they can is nice.
Chicken, Gloria and Hilda seem like they'd be alright parents I suppose. Of course they'll probably have to figure out how to balance champion life and parenthood which will put them in solid foundation, since they're parents seem alright.
You're probably right about Leaf though, she might just be a shonen protagonist parent, and not even be present in much of their life. Leaving dad to do most the work.
