BUG should resist Psychic, and not necessarily defeat it.

BUG should be weak to ICE, more so than being ineffective against ICE.

BUG should not be resisted by FAIRY, but be resisted by DRAGON.

BUG resisting fighting moves makes sense due to their alien body type, but not the other way around ( a sting is still a sting).

BUG resisting mental attacks makes sense due to their overly instinctive-simple and alien brains. BUGS defeating psychics? Unless there is some Japanese folklore meaning, like with the Dark type, then no.

No solid reasoning behind FAIRY resisting BUG, except fairies being the Forrest Guardians, I guess.

Why is GHOST resisting BUG? Maybe to avoid giving GHOST another immunity? ok.

So it seems there are clearly understandable ways to buff the BUG type, allowing to give it weakness to ICE.

Ice should have resistance to normal and flying. Try crudely hitting a block of ice you would either not make much of a dent or have a hard time landing a solid blow because it slips around. Maybe also add a resistance to grass too.

It gives Psychic another weakness. If you absolutely must have a "logical reason" for it, however, just think of it as insectophobia and arachnophobia.

Normal is supposed to be balanced like that, I would even argue removing the weakness to fighting...but again I am not fond of the fighting type.

Grass hitting cold ineffectively? Yes sure, I agree.

ICE should resist water + grass attacks .
ICE should kill STEEL and vice versa, following the same logic as fire attacks against STEEL.
ICE should hit DRAGON neutrally and give STEEL that effectiveness against DRAGON.

If Ice attacks are made of water, they become water upon contact with a Fire-type. It makes no sense to be weak to Water but resistant to Ice which becomes Water.
