>>41834465So by 5 IV, do you mean that the pokemon's actual IV in a corresponding Stat is the value: 5 ?
That would be pointless. When most people use the term: "5 IV" they are shorthand referring to the amount of stats (in this case 5 out of the 6 stats) that pokemon has a "perfect" 31 IV in.
IVs in modern Pokemon are a hidden numerical value tied to a Pokemon's stats. Each Pokemon has 6 stats (HP, Attack, Defense, and so on), and each separate stat will have a particular IV which can range from 0 to 31 (32 possible values). All else being equal, an IV will correlate with a Pokemon's stat value at level 100, such that a Pokemon with a 0 IV in speed will have a speed stat which is 32 points less than another of the same species which possesses a 31 IV in speed. A poke with a speed IV of 30 will have a speed stat that is 1 point less than one with an IV of 31.
What you seem to be conflating is the shorthand method of referencing how many stats a pokemon has 31 IVs in, and the actual factual value of that IV. If a Pokemon has 2 stats that have IVs of 31, it's referred as being a "2 IV" Pokemon, or "2 Perfect IV" Pokemon. Your language makes it seem like you intend on breeding for a Feebas that will have each single stat have an IV of 6.
6 out of 31. On each stat. Do you see our confusion now?
