With the way a lot of Pokémon can be fit into categories (Starters, Regional Bird, Pikaclone, etc.) I thought it would be fun to have a thread dedicated to posting what the #1 of any given category is

You can post different Pokémon in the same category (If someone posts Pikachu, someone can still post Dedenne) so long as you give your reasoning. Come up with as many categories as possible, bias can be included, and have fun
