I started with gen 2 on my gameboy with Pokemon silver/gold.
I read adventures up until the start of Emerald's part, so I'm also basing my opinion of silver off of that, and not just the game.

Also, if you have such a problem with my opinion, then why don't you go ahead and share who you believe is the best rival ? I'll be waiting :) .

I honestly never cared for Barry and was surprised to find out he was popular. He always came across annoying to me and I never found the “fine” bit funny. He’s not a terrible character or anything but he could have benefited from toning down the spaz angle imo.
