Imagine if they treated it like a safari zone, where you can throw treats/mud at certain pokemon to get them to come close to you/not run away. Or you're allowed to walk around your camp with your pokemon. You can ask people directly when you see their character if they want to trade/battle in the wild area. Hell, imagine if they let you sit on the grass like in OP's image. That would be better than just speeding through areas on your shitty as electric bike.
