I like how superpower in gen 3 looks like some dragon ball attack.
Speaking of which, i think overall gen 3 has the most satisfying animations

Gen 3 tri attack was the best. Also I don't remember if it was the same in the 3DS game but gen 8's solar beam is pretty cool.

People tend to forget that the HP bar getting really slow when the pokemon has high HP has always been a thing before gen 3, i rember specifically in the Battle Frontier with lvl 100 mons it took like 3 secs to take down a mon

Gen 3 Mud Shot, Superpower, maxed out Return were some of my favorites. So many animations in gen 3 had this huge amount of oomph behind them.

Gen 3 has the best overall out of any game. Superpower, Aurora Beam, Thunder, the starter recharge moves, Sky Uppercut, Leaf Blade, Cosmic Power, Solarbeam, Doom Desire, Drill Peck, Tri-Attack, the list goes on.
