Nature mints are a neat idea, especially since it just changes the stat boost and not the nature itself, so if somebody likes the fact that their Pikachu is Brave or whatever that doesn't change if they want to give it higher special attack.

Overall SwSh has some good QoL improvements.

Played through the game twice, thinking of making a third team. Honestly, though, the wild area is such a missed opportunity. The landmarks don't do anything, and instead there are just holes in the ground that are supposed to be dens. The pop-in makes navigating the wild area a nuissance if you're biking fast, and I just don't like that all pokemon do is wander/float around in random directions. Snorlax spends all of its time standing. SNORLAX. spends all of its time. STANDING. I'm not asking for complex species-for-species interactions, but at least have them do things like nap, land, eat, scratch, preen themselves, drink.. the normal things animals do idly. I had a lot of fun with the gyms and I'm honestly looking forward to the next playthrough, but the 'wild area' feels about as untamed and natural as an office building.

What I like: new designs, camp, select music tracks, mints, wild area (in concept), xp candies (needs a nerf though, like only working up to a certain level depending on # of badges), and the porn.

What I don’t like: linearity, intrusive handholding and cutscenes, cut features (impartial to dex cut), lack of difficulty, and no postgame.

Monlet scaling sucks ass. Online performance can get unplayable in high traffic heavy weather areas. Back end of the game is noticeably rushed or at least it seems that way I wish there was something more interesting in the tower before the Oleana and rose fight, something else to explore like the hotels in circhester were fun to run around in and talk to npcs

1. No endgame basically. There's not much to do after the end credits and I have already hatched 8 shinies.
2. Linear, handholding, constant cutscenes.
3. Stop healing my pokemon every few steps I think I can manage just fine on my own thank you.
4. The 7th town being just a hallway. Don't care if that's SUPPOSED to be a nod towards older fighting games, pokemon SWoSH isn't a fighting game and the nod fails.
5. Introducing a new mechanic that will be dropped next game/gen unless they somehow weave some bullshit.

There isn't a good way to do EVs outside of clock manipulation. I really preferred the SoS strings for getting EVs up faster.
Also, really annoying that you can't get HA from raids until 4-5 star. I wish all the raids had a chance at HA, maybe getting more likely as you go up in stars.

I didn't like the endgame's plot at all.
Don't get me wrong i like how they changed the gym structure to make it a big competition sports thing that happens once a year. that's a good way to make a stale formula feel fresh again.
But what was all that shit with the chairman that just came out of no where? I know they hinted that he was concerned about the energy crisis in the far off future but until the days of the semi-finals he had done nothing evil except being a billionaire with a monopolizing business.

also not enough clothing stores it's not until the last area that we get any cool punk looks.

technical records are a nice way of giving your pokemon decent coverage while also giving them powerful moves
pokemon camp looks super fun to play in though the removal of petting pokemon is bullshit
some of the music's good, namely the first wild area theme
gym battles are hype
your hall of fame being displayed on the title screen was a pleasant surprise

You shouldn't be allowed to encounter pokemon you can't catch

There is still no post game apart from grinding and breeding and I couldn't tell you a single thing about the story

The "rushed" feeling after the third gym was pretty prevalent. There really is no excuse for shit like Ballonea

you can even stuff vitamins down a mon's throat to fully EV train it instantly

I don't like how there's less stuffs to do in postgame. Galar is smallest region and routes being mostly hallways. Plot is also awful and I don't think they show enough moments to characters outside of battles to justify many fanarts of them.
Camp is a great addition, I enjoy it and it give me interests to hunt for shiny again. Graphics and most animation in battles are pretty. Overworld encounters are good, it's much easy to find pokemon with 1% spawn there than in random encounters.

A few decent Pokemon, Towns and Character designs. Nature mints. League Cards and Customisation are pretty good. Galarian forms for other gen Pokemon, but gen 1 still ended up getting the most on top of 1/2 Gmax forms.

And that's quite literally it.
