Not watching your cringe video but the reason Plasma ended up having that motivation was because they went too deep when they tried to deal with ethical issues of the pokemon universe and coming up with an actually reasonable rebuttal to plasma was impossible. you just can't justify dog fighting at the end of the day. most likely why they never attempted a ""deep"" story like this again

My main problem with the original team plasma is that it's revealed too early some of them are bastards like peta. Should've happened before at least mid-way through the game. Otherwise they were an interesting group and I had always suspected there were people like them before BW came out. Neo-plasma split off from the original because Plasma was split between people who geniunly care for pokemon and those who just want to have power over others, wish they really expanded on the 2 teams in bw2.

It falls apart because pokemon are both stronger and smarter than dogs. Very little would stop any pokemon from blasting you in the face with fire/poison and then running away into the wilderness if they didn't want to fight.

Everyone ignores that Team Galactic was a literal fucking cult that followed an autist who lied to them and planned on wiping out all life. That shit was pretty metal and worked way better than Team Plasma in general. The entire story of BW reeks of pretentious bullshit

Aether Foundation aren't really evil, they're akin to the good Team Plasma from BW2. They only fight you because Lusamine wants to stop you because she's nuts and wants to go to Ultra Space. They still actually do good for Pokemon.
