They hate this shit, they hate being treated like idiots, why do you think they flock to games like Minecraft where they can be by themselves and build big and cool (to them) stuff while feeling smart about it? Kids hate handholding, they hate being told what to do (they're prime contrarians for a reason), and most kids actually want to feel like "big grown ups". Only those from like 3 to 5 need to be treated like idiots, but from 6 to 11 they're already at that age that "I can do it alone, trust me!!", not only with games but with life in general, so this goes to show recent Pokemon games aren't even kid tier, they're toddler tier. That's how out of touch GF is.
