Fix the shitty story. Make those dumbass princes the main villains and trying to suppress the truth of history that Sonia has been discovering bit by bit and to prove her worth as a professor. Rose is just stuck trying to keep things under control politically, and not intentionally a bad guy. Hop looking up to his brother and comparing himself to Leon time and time again but you're not his rival, just his ally and genuine friend. Bede is main rival and keeps trying to get in your way. Make the reason for no national dex like an excuse of them being "invasive species" only to prove that that's wrong and end game allow national dex.

It's already a pretty good game. I guess I'd just add some method of getting the apricorn balls more reliably and fix the matchmaking, which are my only real gripes with the game. Maybe add some cool dungeons to the postgame for extra exploration.

Scale gym leaders to your highest pokémon's level, but in level only, not movesets.
Change each gym from types to teach something different about battling. A gym about boosting or lowering stars, a gym for non weather effects, a gym for wall breaking etc. Raihan's gym was a step in the right direction in that regard

Rewrite the plot so that rose felt he was the only one who could do something about the impending energy crisis, due to companies wanting to line their pockets. Make it happen in the next 100 years or something.
Actually let the player do things on their own for the first 5 hours of the game, I don't need to be walked down a corridor

Way too many list, so I narrowed it down to 3 big ones.
Remove GameFreak
Replace the entire soundtrack or just remove the music entirely.
Add all Pokémon back in, even at the cost of lowering the already bad graphical quality.

Gymleader and champion rematches with teams in 70’s - low 80’s not tied to that stupid tournament.
Keep the tournament but also add the elite 4.
Make BP and battling/competitive items not a bitch to grind for
Easier to harvest EV reducing berries.
Wild pokemon in wild area spawn at level 60 and scale to low/mid 80’s in the postgame
Being able so solo max raid battles and not be stuck with retard AI or dumb partners

another wild area or two. preferably no routes and just good wild areas (but that's not feasible with a pre-existing landscape)
B2W2-style timeskip story (Professor Hop, gym leader Marnie and Bede, retired Piers with his hair down, maybe turn Allister+Bea and Melony+Gordie into double battles, maybe follow up on the whole Kabu is from Hoenn and maybe related to Flannery thing, etc)
have an actual evil team this time preferably with dungeons or something where the rivals and such can get some character-building
B A T T L E F R O N T I E R, it makes perfect sense for a game with such a strong focus on like gym+sports.
new pokemon maybe? ORAS had new megas, USUM had new UBs, so SWSH2 should at least have new galar forms (I still want a Galar Golurk evo that's Steel/Ghost or something personally, and also different variations of the fossilmon)
