#pokepositivity is just patting one of the richest franchises on the back for being lazy. I don't know about the modern definition of toxic, but you sure as fuck don't congratulate someone for underperforming.
#bbnd and such is a loud
arguably annoying, but still cry for help to try to save a franchise that's been with a lot of people since their childhoods. It came with the unfortunate side effect of a lot of reviewers going "this game has new Pokemon, max forms, and [X] is cute, but fuck the white toxic manchildren, 10/10" and they never mention any of the actual concerns about the quality of the game.
For better or worse, TPC as a whole has decided that the franchise is going to double down on being a lazy cashgrab for kids, and I doubt we'll ever see real dungeons, puzzles, or actual challenge in any future gen.
I mean, there's nothing wrong with catering to children, but stinks when we've been in this franchise so long.
