Lying angry dextranny. Literally never found myself a level higher than any Gym Leader and I battled every single trainer in the game. Unless you go around willing capturing all monsters in the wild area or chucking exp candies around you will not be overleveled.

Only if you have a grasp on mechanics.
It's either one or the other.
You understand the battle system? Fine, you can beat the game with subpar teams.
You are a button mashing retard? Fine, you will beat the game anyway with good overlevelled mons.
It's a good compromise, when overlevelling isn't automatic and retards have to work out. If you are always overlevelled like S/S, that's not balanced.

I'm not a fan of the Pokemon changes, but the sheer increased quality of the game just from the difficulty increase makes up for it. The Wild Area feels like less of a place to stupidly overpower your Pokemon and more like something needed to give your team the TRs and xp they need to not die to swift swim Dyna Drednaw and Barraskewda. Overall I'd recommend it to enjoy the good elements of Swshit some more, like the atmosphere in gym fights.

You need a switch with CFW to begin with. Any pokemon you catch or use in this romhack would be illegal for online play. You shouldn't be going online with any romhack or pirated copy anyway.

Looks like fun.
I bought the regular game for my non-hacked Switch. May wanna try and get this when it gets fully done via emulation if possible.
Sword and Shield are ones that actually emulate well, aren't they? So I should be fine to do it that way months from now?

I don't wanna go through all the stuff to hack my Switch. I'd get too paranoid that I'd fuck something up and wind up bricking it or getting in trouble over it.
