Whenever someone tells me ghost is their favorite type I roll my fucking eyes. They're always boring muh aesthetic losers who have never watched horror in their their life or if they have it's bad modern stuff or bad horror games they don't even play but watch. They know shitty amnesia but not penumbra. They think get out or the exorcist is the scariest thing, and having seen or heard of it follows gives them any kind of credibility. They're also all shitty city slickers who know little of the wilderness, the dark woods and hidden hollows, who have never been camping or dug into the local folklore and ghost stories.

But perhaps even worse are the people who claim dark is their favorite. Talk about pathetic. The number of times I've heard it represents my hidden dark side is nauseating.

I've never once heard anyone say normal was their favorite, weirdly. It's always ghost or dark or water and fairy has become a common one too.

Just posting canon proof that ghost types aren’t actually dead. Their Pokédex entries are just folktales and “ghost stories.”

Also, I love ghost types and have always hated that people think they’re dead when they can breed and have genders just like any other Pokémon. Ghost types are more like “Danny Phantom” in that they’re creatures with supernatural powers.
