If you want to play online, then just go to showdown
If you want to grind for shinies or breed like a tard, then play literally every other game. Hell, you can even shiny hunt in fucking gen 1
It's a shitty 12 hour main game with a short episode that should have just been in the main story and has zero challenge. There's no replay value due to the never ending cutscenes. I'm also willing to bet that once the next game comes out, no one will even bother to defend SWSH anymore. Its main (only) appeal is the wild area. If the next game copies and tries to do something more than the absolute bare minimum, then it's automatically better
