In just 4 years. Ishihara is on fucking record saying that he delayed devleopment for the Switch because he assumed it was going to fail. Creatures and Gamefreak give zero fucks about selling consoles. They don't get any profit from that. Only Nintendo does.
You're twisting my words, I didn't say Nintendo wanted to go mobile, I said Gamefreak and Creatures did, because it'd mean they could do less work for more profit. Nintendo was stone walling that for years and Pokemon Go only fucking happened because the failure of the Wii U let Creatures push hard enough against Nintendo to allow it. The point of Creatures being eaten by Nintendo would be that that would never be possible again, since Nintendo would now effectively own 66% of the TCPi votes.
