>>41865049Gen 6 was weak overall, Gamefreak weren't really good at first with working on the 3ds. Plus the gameplay suffered from poor balance concerning the mega gimmick. They should have made Pokemon Z and pushed back ORAS to Gen 7.
Gen 8 isn't great but I genuinely see some potential. Overworld encounters are a neat change. Wild area needs polish but I don't think it would murder Sinnoh if properly implemented. Dynamax is restricted to gyms so we don't have to worry much about the balance getting fucked. I'm really just worried about what kind of changes they'll bring to the environment and caves. Postgame is a worry too. I think they'll make new versions for SWSH before Sinnoh though.
