These are objectively the best designed monsters. The way their manes are made to resemble a thundercloud, volcanic smoke and a northern aurora are the best thought out and best implemented design elements in the series.

How can you possibly think this. The legendary dogs are actually amazing. They have a theme, are coherent, but remain different enough, unlike the sinnoh lake trio, the sword and shield legendaries etc.

All legendaries were good up to gen 3. Gen 4 had some absurdly edgy shit like time, space and a literal god pokemon, but was not so bad, not at least compared to gen 5 abomination of legendaries.
