You mean keep Nomura the fuck away? XV was only a trainwreck because Nomura is a fucking hack and the work load got dumped on Tabata and threw him under the bus whenever people asked why the game was shit. Nothing makes me saltier than Square giving Tabata a deadline of two years to make a game from scratch that Nomura didn't even get going and they gave Nomura 6 years to dick off on a mediocre product.

I'm not going to get into a retarded /v/ argument about FF directors, but Nomura wasn't the one that made them completely fuck the entire battle system so casual mobage fans could play it one-handed, nor was he the one that left the entire cast completely undeveloped and the story shallow and pointless so that they could sell DLC episodes.

Kingdom Hearts 3 was phenomenal, FF14 is good for an MMO and Dragon Quest 11 is great. Their side projects like Bravely Default and SaGa are consistently fun too.
