I dont really know why, but these games actually made me feel like I was playing my first Pokemon game, all over again, they had a somewhat nostalgic/wholesome feeling to them
While I think it rivals Gen 7, Im not sure if Gen 8 surpasses it, it will depend on how the games grow on me, although I have to say that Gen 8 has superior animations and characters/story progression, even if in terms of narrative and creativity Gen 7 has the upperhand
