I haven’t known him back when we were kids, only met him in high school and while discussing random things we had the anime subject and apparently he was also into Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Digimon, Dragon Ball, etc. However, he never played any of the games, like literally none of them. He just googles images of random Pokemon like Jynx or Kadabra and shows them to me, “oh hey you know this one’s name?”, I told him I have always been a Pokemon master I know everything about them...
It doesn’t really sound cringey or annoying when I type this shit, but it’s a pain that he only likes them only because how they look, and he had no idea that games with them existed.
A few days ago he just downloaded an app that shows Pokemon cards, like a gallery, and he didn’t know that one was a game either.
