Ofc. I want all the Pokémon to be in a fucking Pokémon game. That's something I take for granted in the series.
But even in completely different series that function differently, like SMT or whatever, I expect a variety of areas to explore, the option for difficult strategic battles, post-game areas to explore with unique bosses, a story that engages me to the end, characters that I get emotionally attached to, secret areas to explore with interesting things to find, etc.
Pokémon Sword and Shield do not offer any of those things, so they're disappointing RPGs, and they don't offer the Pokémon I like, so they're disappointing Pokémon games.
