You could have literally just said ZACIAN. You know, it's name? If you post the game mascot and bring up the dex most people are obviously gonna think you mean the game and not the individual pokemon. It's overwhelmingly evident based on the replies you got.

Zacian is meant to be a dynamax counter, but isn't very good at it, and Ditto exists. If we had the full national dex there'd be even more mons that can dynamax without worrying about Zacian at all, and quite a few that do its job better than it.

Breeding and competitive would be much more fun, but the underlying problems we've had since gen 6 are still there. The games are empty, soulless husks devoid of dungeons, secrets, and postgame content. No megas is also a pretty big dealbreaker.

Without dexit I would have maybe bought them used like I did USUM, but it would sure as shit not have been a day 1 buy for me. With dexit it's not a hard choice to just play other games.

If I recall, someone in another thread posted some calculations and basically it all comes down to who has the better combo of speed and power. Zacian NEEDS its special item to access its stronger form, while Mega-Fug doesn't need an item and can run a scarf to out speed and hit with V-Create. If Fug runs a different item, it's fucked. That's all I can remember from that thread.

If Dexit didn't happen, the games would have been lauded during the honeymoon period before getting criticized to death after like XY and SuMo. Dexit opened up a lot of eyes to Pokémon's actual quality, and might actually help Pokémon in the long run as the fanbase is starting to hold the games to actual standards

Depends from whether or not Primal Groudon (and Kyogre) would be culled alongside Megas. Aside from Groudon various Arceus forms could be decent checks, but she would still be one of the absolute best Pokémon around.
