Unexpected bro thread. Whats a Pokemon that you initially didn't care for but came to love after using it on a whim or as part of a challenge? For me, its Barbaracle. Hated this atrocity when it was leaked, but after using it in a romhack of Omega Ruby he is now my sworn brother.

Barbaracle is the ultimate litmus test of good Pokemon taste. I'm proud of you, anon.

For me, it was Solrock in a FireRed 386 randomizer hack years ago. I found it in Mt. Moon so it was still early enough in the game for it to steamroll everything in its way, and I started appreciating the design more along the way.
