gen 6 is where the skepticism came in, gen 7 seemed like the tipping point, and gen 8 cinched it

now that i realize the shitty models we got 6 years ago are seemingly here to stay with extremely incremental (if any) improvements, my conviction that 3D is indeed PD is solidified

so the aesthetics will forever suck, plus the gimmicks only get more retarded

Messing around with cheat codes after I beat Sun, I used a walk through walls code. With this, I realized how boring and featureless the region was, then I came to the realization that the entire game was like that. Then looking back I realized it was the same with XY and ORAS, and how little those games had compared to previous games. USUM was the breaking point and I haven't bought a Pokemon game since. No other products either, except for a single plush.

I was reluctant in gen 4, but it hit me hard with the gen 5 rehashed mons.
And now it's happening all over again in gen 8, it feels like a dejavu, and in a decade, there will be kids here that have grown up on LGPE and SS saying about how that was when pokemon peaked..
