Not sure how the tournament structure works, whether or not you'll be fighting against other Steel teams. Honestly (I'm assuming Excadrill is not banned) every Steel-type user is probably going to have like 2, even 3 of their slots selected in Balanced Mole of a Healthy Meta, Corviknight, and kinda Aegislash.
I don't think you're outspeeding anything there with base 60 speed, and even in the case of other Aegislash you might even want to have less speed as detailed previously.
In my opinion, run Modest. Slash when played correctly effectively has 140 attacking stats, and 60/140/140 defensive stats. Basically, you bust walls, damage cores, and dent switch-ins. All the while you have the bulk to eat a crackback. You don't really need speed to accomplish those jobs, but you do need Power and Survivability. Just my two cents...
But hell we live in a world without Pursuit now, so you may even want to look into Band or Scarf Aegislash, idk lol
