>>41904975When megas were debuted, I lost my shit to the idea that mons can now digivolve into super saiyans and that even weak forgotten mons like mawile/pinsir/khan etc can now become viable...but stopped caring when I realized they were mostly focusing the mechanic to shill the shillmons even harder to the point where some megas were dead on arival because they were outclassed by their already OP vanilla with an open item slot. And I guess once they gave all the main shillmons their megas, they decided they couldn't go any further with it and scraped it.
Theyrmso done with it that they even retcon mega evos into being an evil act, because apparently "it hurts the mon" using it.
I loved the idea of megas but hated what they turned into.
