Basically, most efficient is 4 trades total, let's just do them in the following order so we're on the same page.
1) My Shellmet for your Karrablast. You'll just keep my now evolved Shellmet permanently.
2) I return your evolved Karrablast for a Munchlax let's say.
3) Mawile for either Mantyke or Mime.
3) Passimian for whichever one is last.
