Why do Pokémon's percentages feel like such bullshit? Why is it so routine for a move with an 80% chance of hitting to miss numerous times in a row, or a move with a 20% chance of causing a Pokémon to flinch pull that off four times straight?

I think the AI can tell what the RNG will roll in advance, and only chooses low accuracy moves over guaranteed moves if they'll work.

you don't notice when you hit the 80% move 10 times in a row, but you do notice when it misses twice in a row.
