Apparently the credits movie is a .mp4 created in May.

The mouse cursor on the Rillaboom's ass was there for ~5 months, and no one noticed (or cared), lol.

I took part in testing a game that was entirely complete and was in the bug testing phase for 7 months.

It was brutal, the developers had to essentially rebuild a large portion of the game in order to fix a critical bug.

Yep. Am a dev and tester in general myself. That's why you don't listen to people telling you "It's a work in progress! It'll get fixed, I swear!".

In most case testing has already long started before a release is announced so the only things that will change big time from trailers are bugs you never get to see.

Especially in the case of most Nintendo games where they don't want to announce them unless it'll be seen in the next year or so (obviously doesn't always happen because sometimes delays are needed despite what modern Game Freak thinks but still).

So what? Honestly, why does this matter? The games are still fun to play regardless of the cursor being there or not. You'd probably (99.999999...%) not even notice it while playing normally if it weren't pointed out to you. These things happen (you'd know if you had ever worked in your lives).

To be sorta fair, just looking at the UI, it was probably supposed to be a computer at some point. The bigger error would be the thumbnails on the side, which have the player in them, even though you're not actually a trainer at that point.
