Ok, so what kind of foreshadowing for next gen we have in SWSH?

Btw. If I'm not wrong, Kalos foreshadowed Galar with that hotel guy

Copperajah could be a hint for India themed region. I kinda remember its stated its not native to Galar but i may be wrong.

Also this and the fact Piers got a lot of attention in this game made me suspect he'll be a recurring charachter next gen, introducing the sound battles gimmick.
Could be a region inspired by Italy (opera) or Germany (most famous composers)

We had a Galar hint in Gen 7. You remember Decidueye, right? Well, look at it when it uses Spirit Shackle. Does it not resemble Robin Hood from medieval English legend?

Kalos foreshadowed Alola with the Strange Souvenir. I think LGPE had a calendar that showed something that resembles the UK on it.

This. The calendar in lgpe was a map of England/galar, and the strange souvenir gifted in Kalos could be bought in Alola. Nothing has really stood out yet for next gen, though I feel like I saw a Sinnoh reference

you'd need triple types to make it work for pokemon who are already double typed like seismitoad/noivern/primarina/toxtricity, so sadly i don't think it will ever happen

not really next gen, but some obvious sequel bait so far

They don’t have to have the typing themselves but some of their moves would like boomburst changes from normal to sound. And mons like exploud and loudred who are only normal yet obviously sound themed become sound types
